How it names chords
The detector compares your selected pitch classes against common chord formulas such as major, minor, 7, maj7, m7, sus, dim, aug, add9, 9, 11, and 13. It also shows slash notation when the bass note differs from the root.
Click one fret per string to build a voicing. The app analyzes the selected notes and shows the most likely chord name, plus alternatives.

Select notes on the neck to identify a chord.
String buttons on the left toggle mute for that string. A muted string is ignored during chord detection. Strings are displayed from 1st to 6th. Clicking the same fret again removes it.
